SAFEST BIRTH CONTROLLING CHOICES; AFTER DELIVERY!!!!

Becoming a mom is pretty amazing. But you're probably not ready to do it again so soon,, Right??!!! So, i am listing out some of the best and commonly used postpartum birth control methods which will help you to get back in to that colourful moment without conceiving another baby before you’re ready. Talk to your doctor about what method is best for you 😊

1. Natural methods- Avoid intercourse when you are fertile.. yes, you can predict the ovulatory phase by calculation method or by checking temperature or using predictor kits.. another natural method is Withdrawal i.e your partner should pull out; before he ejaculates,, yes practice matters a lot here!!! So, in these methods failure rates are much higher..

2. Barrier methods- Condoms for men, all are aware about this. Diaphragm and cervicle cap for women- it is a shallow dome-shaped device that is partially fill with spermicide and insert into vagina before sex. It keeps sperm from passing through your cervix.

3. Hormonal methods- Mini- pill is an oral contraceptive that contains a small amount of progestin. The pills come in packs of 28, and you take one pill every day so that you're getting a steady dose of the hormone. It is best for BF moms where estrogen is contra indicated..

Depo Shot- The birth control shot (Depo-Provera) is an injection of progestin you get every three months. The shot appeals to some women who want a highly effective method of contraception but don't want (or can't use) an IUD, can't take estrogen, or have trouble remembering to take pills.

4. Intra- Uterine Devices (IUD's)- Copper device- where small T-shaped device made of flexible plastic that's inserted into the uterus by a doctor.. other one is synthetic hormone progestin where device releases the progestin. They last from three to twelve years. IUDs provide effective, long-term, reversible protection, and they're safe for nursing moms. You can have one inserted;right after delivery;if you wish..

5. Surgical sterilization- If you’re sure that your family is complete i mean 100 percent, no doubt in your mind, you never want to be pregnant again—then go for surgical sterilization where the tubal ligation is done through laproscopic method called lap. tubectomy...;

Non- surgical sterlization is also done through the vaginal route, in to fallopian tubes a device is used to block.. it is good as recovery time is less!!!

All methods except IUD's and surgical one,,, you can opt only after 6 weeks of post partum delivery!!!!

Please keep in mind- never opt estrogen or estrodiol during breast feeding,,, if you want a hormonal one then go for Progestin it will not interfere BF'ing!!!

Hope i have listed the safest and convinient one!!!

Happy post- partum sex 😜
