SAND PLAYING BY KIDS


In previous day's during my childhood we use to play with sand. All our friends in our quarters use to play together during evenings. That's a great entertainment and fun for us. We can explore our creativity by playing in different ways.


Now a days everyone is thinking like playing in sand is not good. Some are like no time to bring kids for sand play. And few people are bringing kids to park for Playing with sand. Whatever the reason might be here is my opinion in playing with sand.


Nature play is always better than others. Kids learn a lot of things while playing in sand. While playing in sand don't interfere in their play. It doesn't mean to not do anything even if they pour on heads. We have to take care of all those things. Just give them freedom to play as however they want to play. They can explore their creativity, share tools of sand play kit and compromise and learn from others.


It's also a kind of developing fine motor skills. While they lift sand in buckets and move it to other place. Hand eye coordination will be there. While others play like pretend play to make road and path and follow the actions. Putting rubber animals on the road side and play with different creative thoughts. Making different forms of shapes by imazing in their thoughts. Kids should feel the touch to sand by digging the sand and moulding the sand.


Kids learn to know about new words while playing in sand like number of buckets, how much sand, less, more, more weight, less weight and many more to go. We can also create some play like, Take a waste bottle and put hole to it and fill it with sand. Now ask kid to draw something like numbers or figures anything. That's a kind of play. Sand art.


As kids play in sand they communicate with each other kids and speaking and listening will also be improved. Language skills will be improved.


They can have full of fun and entertainment with learning in sand and nature. Kids love to play in sand. They feel more and more happy.


🌟 My Tashya loves to play with sand and outing in nature. She digs sand with her tool kit and plough it and then take it to a small bucket and shifts that bucket to other place. Same continues again and again.
