So we have started imparting lessons on private body parts to our 4 year old daughter. As for her, there's no difference between any part from hair to toe. Super cool about it! Over time, she has started rattling off the lesson on private parts like a parrot!
2 situations of utter embarrassment we went through -
1. Her Dad was washing her after a poop episode on the toilet seat. This is absolutely a normal and regular affair for her. But one morning, she asks him "Why are you looking at my private parts!?" He almost dropped the jet spray in his hands! When he explained to her that it is OK with Daddy and Mumma, she rattled off a list of whole list of close family members and friends. We didn't know where to stop!
2. Our neighbor was breastfeeding her toddler on the bed. She blatantly asks her "Why are you showing your private parts to him and why are these (referring to her breasts) coming down?!
Facepalm. @Niyati Shah - Averti can you advise how to tackle these questions?
Have any of the toddler/ preschooler moms here faced this?

it's so normal.. please address it in an age appropriate manner/ language. Kids will get their information anyways. my son's school psychologist advises showing kids national geographic since this is a clean form of explaining mammal birthing and feeding processes
