Savory Oats Porridge

INGREDIENTS
¼ cup quick cooking oats
1 ½ cup water
Pinch of Turmeric powder
¼ tsp of roasted Cumin powder
Pinch of freshly crushed black pepper powder ( optional)
Salt to taste

METHOD
1) Put the oats in a saucepan and add water to it.
2) Add turmeric powder and cook the mixture on a medium flame for about 7-10 minutes or until the oats are cooked. Season the porridge with roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder and salt.
3) Mix well , cook for 1 minute or so and put off the flame.
4) Serve plain or add any vegetable puree to this savory porridge depending on what your baby likes.
