Many parents think that a walker will help their baby learn to walk. However, walkers interfere with the natural process of walking by providing an easier alternative method,it decreases a baby’s desire to walk on its own,it also strengthen the wrong muscles {lower legs are strengthened but upper legs/hips become weak} which infact are most important for walking. Babies using walkers may reach the walking milestones later than babies who don’t.Your baby should follow roll-sit up-crawl-walk routine for which it’s important to stay on the floor,it helps in strengthening the muscles needed to stand-walk. A walker may prevent your baby from doing so & may impair normal development. The natural process of walking teaches baby how to balance itself. It is for this reason that many countries have banned the sale of walkers.Babies learn to walk by watching/understanding how their feet & legs move. If a walker has a tray or rim, they can't see what's happening with their lower body &don't get the information they need about their motor development. If you want to give your baby the walking practice you think she needs,do so at home,in parks or open spaces. Just take her hand in yours & guide her in taking her steps so the baby gets a better feel of her legs, motion & ground. An open space also lets the baby explore moving in a wide area #SaraTolani#BBCreatorsClub#InstaBaby#BabiesOfIntagram#IGBabies#Baby#BabyPhotoshoot#BabyPhoto#CuteBaby#Life#Mom#BabyGirl#MomPreneur#Mommy#MommyBlogger#Blogger#InstaKid#InstaMom#BabyStyle#FashionBaby#BabyDoll#BabyModel#Motherhood#Parenting#MotherhoodRocks#Childhood#InstaMom#ChildhoodRising#Infant#MotherhoodRising#MomsWithCameras#LetThemBeLittle@Khushboo Chouhan
