School chale hum school..

What's the right age for a child to start school /preschool?

Ans. Whenever you feel from within that this is the time.

Ours was at 18 months when we decided that we had to put Lil R in a preschool cum daycare.

Staying in a nuclear family, SAHM post delivery all this was making #lilR just clingy, he wouldn't interact with anyone except me and hubby so yes the time had come for us to get strong.

The day came and it was tearing my heart each day to see him cry his lungs out for me. The live cctv is like the best thing created by mankind ever for a Mother. When I saw him playing I was happy. But when I would see him cry and I cried too.Thinking have we made the right decision. But an eg. Was right in front of me, ME.. My mom left me in daycare when I was 6months old(I see lot of positive effects bcoz of that)

We had to become strong stronger, we wanted him to socialize, play with his age children, that's it.

Initial days were very very tough, but kept getting better with time. We tried talking to him about school, his new friends, toys at school etc.at home before starting.

Also I read somewhere children feel how the parents feel about the school, teachers if I was scared and didn't show trust on the teachers at Daycare he too wouldn't.. So I changed my feelings first, maybe that worked..

So now even on weekends he takes his school bag and says lets go Taataa (bye). Though he still cries everyday while going inside for a few minutes but the positive changes we have seen in him makes us feel we made the right decision at the right time.

You know the best for the child, lot of people will say lot of things negative mostly, why put a child in a daycare, school so early he is not even 2 etc etc. My hubby always says log hai, logo ka kaam hai kehna... Just do what you feel is right.
What's your story?how did you manage this settling in daycare phase? How did u feel the first time you left ur child at school.? #toddlermom #toddlerschool #daycares #Rutwikdiaries #magicalmoments

We are planning put when she turns 2, may be day care. Actually she is quite friendly and socializes well ,so I'm afraid if schooling will make her dull.
