Sex During Pregnancy - A question that most expecting parents have - For most parents there is a fear factor that they don't want to hurt the baby but at times the second trimester for women may actually show an increased sex drive due to the hormonal changes. Here are a few things to keep in mind :
1. It's ok to have this conversation with the doctor. Your doctor will be able to tell you if everything is well with your pregnancy. If Pregnancy is normal and healthy then the baby is well protected and there is no harm.
2. It is a good idea to use condoms as this will prevent vaginal infections for the mom.
3. Be gentle and avoid any jarring movements.
4. Avoid any pressure or weight on the abdomen.
5. It is best to abstain in the last couple of weeks prior to delivery as your water bag may break and infection could transfer to the inside of the womb.
6. At times you could also try other methods to give each other pleasure rather than the full act.
Remember each pregnancy is different and it is always best to consult your doctor before you go ahead.
