It's best to start solids at six months. It is also a good idea to avoid packaged foods unless traveling. We do not recommend dal and rice water as Weaning foods as these are low calorie and will compromise your baby's development. Discuss the diet with the doctor or a child nutrition specialist and avoid random suggestions.

Wholesome foods are best for babies, try to avoid cerelac... breastfeed baby for 6 months, right now baby's digestive system is not mature to handle solids and semi-solids...
