Anon... Just a week before they came to my home... And was asking 21k as pota hua hai... Everyone believes that their blessings are precious. And also their source of income is this. I was at my mom's place but finally my MIL had to give 5k which I feel is too high. It completely depends on your belief.

Hi Anon, I totally agree with what @5fd88d539941ed0013923012 has said. I always give to them even if I see them at a traffic signal, just coz they are the underprivileged ones. And if I am capable of giving then I feel happy in that. But sometimes they irritate by asking an amount which we are not willing to give then it's also ok to let them know what you feel. When my son was born, they asked for 10k but we were not willing to give that much so we clearly told them it's totally out of our budget, after an hours discussion they agreed on 5k. 🙈
