since my preemie has come home , I have not exposed him.much to public places and outdoors .gradually near by areas hebhas started visiting. his health is OK now , but I am in doubt when he will be ready for LONG DISTANCE TRAVEL. I understand that he need outmost care till 1 year of age or till he catches up well, and is healthy without falling I'll. he was born with very low birth rate and was very premature baby. how long he will b3 taken care as preemie , my biggest worry this day is to give my kid outdoor life and expose him to outer world too. any similar cases experience please advise , suggest

Aradhana most full term kids also fall sick during the first one year. What is important to note is if he has caught up to his age. This will be in terms of weight and height. Also keep track of the milestones. If he has caught up and is over all healthy then you can both start living a normal life.

My twins were also preemie and we started taking them out after 1.5 months. I never tried to keep them away from outside world after 3-3.5 months .. we also made road trips at 4 months.. and their immunity level has also grown up a lot. Incase you keep baby away long from outside world the more chances are he will get more infections. you can moderately start taking baby out once a while
