Siya is growing at an unfathomable speed. Each day comes with a new surprise and despite of me loving all this, I am often saddened by the thought that soon she will outgrow my arms. I was browsing my phone the other day when I stumbled upon a video of Siya when she was just four months old. 👶🏻👩‍👦❤️😘

I was transported back in time and remembered how grumpy I used to be then, blurting out at the slightest instance. Back then I used to think if she will ever understand what her mother has been through to bring her into this world. What all her mother has to let go just for the sake of her. 👩‍👦❤️🙇🏻‍♀️

Then suddenly I realized how soon those days have passed. They will never come back even if I want them to. She will not be the four-month-old Siya again and I will not be her 26-year old mother again. 💕👪👩‍❤️‍👩

Time changes a lot of things and we only know the worth of it when it has already gone. We yearn for it to come back or for us to go back in time but neither of it happens. We regret things left incomplete, talks left unfinished or promises left unfulfilled. ⏱⏰🕰⌛️
