Carrying snacks while traveling has really helped us. These snacks come in handy in these situations:
1. In queues, where there is no food. So instead of buying packaged food, reach out for that home made snack.
2. In flights or in cars
3. Between the main meals as a mid-meal.;
4. If the main meal is not on time due to any reason Some hassle free home made snack options which have helped me:
1. Mathri or namak paare - It’s like a salty biscuit. Can be made in various flavours.
2. Shakkar paare or Gud paare - It’s like a sweet biscuit.
3. Makhana
4. Banana chips
5. Pieces of jaggery
6. Nuts - cashew and raisins
7. Gulcand
I also carried some ghee when she was between 1-2 years old. Eating outside all the time used to affect her stomach. So ghee helped to loosen the stool.; The snacks help us to avoid eating junk food - processed packaged food in mid meals.;
