So, day before yesterday we had to go for rent renewal late evening. I fed my 6m old daughter before leaving house and thought we would be back soon. It took a little long and I had no energy to come back and cook, we met a friend and decided to have dinner outside. My lo was superhungry by then still wearing smile no fuss...
I thought once we catch auto I can feed her as I couldn't find any place even to seat nearby. We tried hard for 30min but couldn't get any auto ola nothing and we decided to walk in direction we wanted to go and see if we can get rikshaw midway. With no luck we had to reach all the way by walk, my bub was carrying her all way my legs n knee were hurting a lot. But I was more upset with the fact that I was not able to feed her yet, he was finding auto n I was searching place..in vain We finally reached the restaurant I sighed with relief that now I will be able to feed her , I immediately rushed to Manager, she said there is no place where I can feed her, for a moment I thought of using thier toilet as well but it was stinking badly. I just told my husband I am leaving n will be back in few minutes. He rushed behind me, then he was asking the security guard of same housing society if they have any cabin etc. I was totally mad by then without a second thought I just went to stairs , sat there and fed my baby. We both didn't care and we both were happy !! By the time my husband was back we were done😄 I asked him to click a picture he gave confused smile and clicked ! I don't have any hesitation feeding my bub in public but sometimes she is very fussy she needs me to sing, want to get fed in dark corner, standing , gets distractEd easily..etc etc. So becomes difficult for me to feed her. It there can be smoking zones in Restaurants why can't there be a feeding room not because we mother's hesitate but because we need comfort too ! #nursinginpublic
