So my today's post is about if we really need to buy toys for babies for we can work with things that are at home.
When my boy was born all I could think about was what all cute stuff to buy for him and then I kept imagining how he is going to enjoy playing with them. however my boy had different plans for himself. He definitely played with some of the toys and few became his favourites but most of the toys are literally untouched.

Some toys which he really likes are :

🌹 A Rattler
🌹his favourite lion cub soft toy who we call Sheru.
🌹A ball.

THAT'S IT!! YES ,Surprised??

Well what I have observed is that babies want to play with things that we are using and that's why they get attracted to books/utensils/brooms/boxes of any shape and size/spoons and bowl (super favourite) and MOBILE PHONES.

There is never a chance that any of these items fail to interest my boy whereas his concentration level with toys is hardly 5-10mins.

So in order to make most use of this situation I started covering boxes with colorful papers or coloured them with sketch pens. Instead of investing in expensive toys I bought musical books of different sizes. Some having picture stories and some just a feel and touch book. Believe me they are so amazing and are going to be useful until he outgrows them 😊

Once he started on solids I gave him puffed rice in bowl and he played with them and also learnt to eat it helping with this princer grasp too 🤓

I definitely try to keep him away from phone though and not totally successful in it but I will reach there.💁‍♀️
