Caste based stereotypes r the worst.. intercaste marriages, sub castes marriage.. if its liberal for the individual to be what he wants than let him be liberal with the choice of marriage as well

So much and so many.; Guys can't wear pink is something I always challenge. Girls can't play around with cousins behind a football. Having a guy child is always better.. khandan ka vaaris and all..; thankfully I have broken all of these ever since childhood coz my paternal family is awesomely cool. However, here other than my hubby and dad in law,; the rest are stereotype K bhakt.

I hate people saying don't cry like a girl baby to any of the boys for that matter. I just make sure to hit them hard on their head and tell them tears are common for both genders

I hate how Indian society stereotypes boy's birth as big thing..big celebration and girl's birth as normal thing with minimal celebration.. I hate how people are ok to live with these stereotypes :)

I belong from a place where gender stereo typing is so much, thank god; my in laws are quite progressive in thinking. otherwise in my community you are not allowed to talk to your brother in laws and father in laws. Infact you have to cover your head also 😜to show respect.
