Share a story that your mom/dad/grand parents recited to u as a kid! Do you apply them in your life?

When I was a young child my Nani told me a wonderful story about a bit and a magic stick. I have forgotten it and sadly so has my Nani. I m going to search on the net.

Another favorite was a story where a camel and his wife camel are walking in the dessert when they loose their way..then they keep walking for miles..tired and thirsty and finally with great difficulty they discover a puddle with little water which could give life to just one of them..both of them love each other so much they they keep saying...you drink it.. I am not that thirsty and then die together.. I used to cry in this story..
