Sugarfree Ragi laddu. As you all knowm ragi is excellent baby food.in our south side we qidely consume it.we prepare roti,dosa, porridge ,upma and laddu.it contains high calcium and iron which is useful for development of baby for its bone growth.i started giving after 8 months as porridge wid apple.he loves eating ragi i cook in variety so that he fall in love wid ragi.it really helps in weight gain.i have witnessed gain of my baby apart from benefit for kids its beneficial to adults also it controls diabetes my mom has it so she eats ragi roti. * So for toddlers you can give them laddu as breakfast or as evening snack wid glass of milk.* Ingredients:
*Ragi flour
*Dates
*nuts( i used almonds raisins and walnut)
*cardamon and fennel seed powder
*ghee How to make laddu's
*dry roast ragi for 3 to 4 mins keep aside to cool down.
*chop dates and take it in mixer wid ragi flour and nuts. Pulse it till mixes together.
*heat kadai put ghee and then add mixture and fry it for 2minutes.
*transfer to bowl and knead well and make small lemon size balls.please dnt put hand in hot mixture.touch it when its bearable.
