INGREDIENTS
1 cup boiled sweet corn kernels
¼ cup chickpea flour
1 tablespoon rice flour
1 onion finely chopped
2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
1 tablespoon ghee
½ teaspoon black pepper powder
Rock salt to taste
METHOD
1) Boil the sweet corn kernels either in a pressure cooker, open vessel or in a microwave.
2) Add the boiled sweet corn to a grinder jar. Add little water and make a coarse paste.
3) Transfer this sweet corn paste to a mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients except ghee and mix well.
4) The batter should be thick but of dropping consistency.
5) Take spoon full of the batter and add it on a heated skillet. Make small fritters similarly with the rest of the batter.
6) Drizzle ghee and cook the fritters on medium heat until they turn golden brown from both sides.
7) Serve the fritters warm with ketchup or dip of your choice.
