Swiss Roll


Ingredients



1 cup curd

3/4 cup sugar

1 cup all purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp banking soda

1/2 tsp vanilla essence

Few drops of red food colour

Mix fruit jam


Method


Mix curd and sugar till sugar dissolve

Add baking soda and baking powder and mix

Mix will; become fluffy than add all purpose flour in batches

Mix it in cut and fold method

Add vanilla essence

Take one table spoon batter in a separate bowl and mix red colour

Preheat oven at 180 degree

Line the baking tray with butter paper

Put red colour batter dots by dropping with spoon on the tray and keep this tray in deep freezer for 5 mins

Meanwhile take 4-5 tbsp jam in a bowl and whisk it so that it become loose and can easily spread

Take out the tray from fridge and spread batter in it evenly and bake it for 10 mins or till the toothpick inserted comes out clear

Take out the tray and transfer the baked sheet on another butter paper by inverting the tray repeat same method once more so that dots side should be down

Now roll the cake with help of butter paper and leave it for 5 mins

After 5 mins open the roll carefully and spread jam over it and again roll it and keep this log in fridge fir half an hour to set

Take it out from fridge and carefully remove the butter paper and cut it into slice....
