Tasty and super healthy sabudana/sago, small chilla/tikki/rotti recipe for toddlers: This is super tasty, healthy and also easy to prepare and is sure the kids will love it.
Ingredients: soak about 1 cup of sago oversight.
Next morning take your desired choice of veggies like carrot(grated) or capsicum to saute it in a pan with little oil or ghee for few minutes. Now add a cup of semolina/rava and saute again. After it cools down add it to the sago draining water and mix about a half cup of curds. Adjust the consistency by adding a bit of water. Don't make it too runny. Keep aside for 10min. Add salt to taste. Can add coriander leaves too.
Now take a cast iron pan, grease it a bit with oil or ghee. Add a desired about in hand of the mixture and pat with the help of your hand on the Tawa. Roast it golden brown on both sides. You can serve it as it is or with any chutney.
This recipe requires very little oil to prepare and it's both filling, yummy and healthy.
