A strong devotee of Lord Krishna I always wanted my kid to be named after him. So after a lot of brain storming and discussing hundreds of Krishna names we arrived on consensus for 'Krishiv' which is a combination of Lord Krishna & Lord Shiva. This exercise made us learn thousands of Lord Krishna names. Plus I can see the combo effect in the kid 😃. Super naughty and natkhat like Lord Krishna and temperament that of Shiva ; overall heavy on me ;)

My husband had a dream of a particular book in the Bible. Every book has chapters in the Bible, so when he saw this dream, he saw the book Nehemiah, & the; last chapter along with it which was 14. However the book has only 13 chapters so my husband felt God was saying to us that our son will have a part to play in taking; or finishing something God will give him.; Hence our son's name is Nehemiah Bhagwane #sharewithus #shareyourthoughts

So for my first son I had only one option of alphabet it was J and I like short cute names which cannot have pet names so I named Jai; which the meaning is Lord Vishnu and from my younger son again I got only 1 alphabet K as per the janam patri and again I wanted a short name so I named him kian and which means the KING..

Towards the third trimester of my pregnancy, we began to think of baby names. So, we divided a sheet into two parts, wrote “GIRL” in one column, and “BOY” in the other, and jotted down all likeable names that came to our mind.
Finally , after searching a lot, my husband gave up and handed me the task of choosing a name .i just had no clue. i was reading books searching the net and looking into thousands of names and their meanings.
My first priority was the name should be unique, small and sweet . It should be easy to call out. Then I liked the; name Keyan for boy and for girl Iqra. Finally husband , my parents and in laws; loved the name.
Keyan meaning essence
