The baby is indeed a star of the day! But we tend to forget the birth of a mother in the same process. She needs as much care and attention as her baby does.

Next time you see a new mom, please ask about her well-being as well. Ask her if she is coping with the new phase well and support her with all you have!

Let us stop normalising the fact that a woman loses her identity after marriage or the birth of her child. She very much is the same individual as she was before! 🌸
