THE BOSS BABY definitely lives up to the name! This was a ticket to meet an extraordinary baby who wears a suit & is on a mission. He is sent to Earth by Baby Corp. to discover the reason why there’s an upsurge for puppy love over baby love around the world. Although the plot might seem just slightly more than futile, we must thank the creators for their originality that kept my kid and his friends laughing and enjoying at the cinema.
Highly imaginative Tim’s world was perfect till Boss Baby appears. But the two team up so that Tim’s family of three goes back the way it was & Boss Baby can earn his promotion at Baby Corp.
A Dreamworks animation perhaps cannot be in par with a Pixar one; however, squeezing in corporate culture into a kiddie movie is pure genius! And to smother the movie with sibling love is obviously groovy.
Who would have thought that an animated movie would be based on a book? Yes, the movie is rooted in Marla Frazee’s book of the same name.
While the movie is only a little above average, it is guaranteed that you will be exiting the talkie drooling “ga-ga” & “goo-goo” with your kid(s)!
