The job title I proudly own since four years now— ‘Stay at home mom!’

This very “stay at home mom” title needs to be given more glory..isn’t it? It has been my job title for the past four years now, proudly doing it without a day off.. yeah right! I embarked on this new adventure when I was an empowered mother who never had enough time for anyone or anything. I entered into my new world giddy and totally clueless as to the transformation it would have on my relationship with my girl and the new sentiment of solidarity that I would feel towards women..kudos to super humans,moms❤️

I haven’t ever felt what a mother feels for a child..after I became one. I realised what all my mom had to give up in order to raise us, it’s hard what she did. She had so many dreams which she couldn’t accomplish and wanted me to achieve them for her. I did make her proud. Sometimes I used to think being at home and doing nothing except chores, parenting and looking after kids would be an easy job but when I actually became a mom, things changed, thought process too. Umm the line that struck me is ‘I am in her shoes now, a stay at home mom!’ It isn’t easy,it really isn’t. But winging it each day.

Mommies who are staying at home to raise a family should be widely respected. Busy as ever, sleepless, hardworking, visionary, moms. They have the rare empathy and people skills, but they don’t have time to waste, so they get everything done, multitaskers,us! Yay! And we are doing what no one else can!
