The journey from Bombay to Tokyo... After so many ups and downs, finally get to go to Tokyo. Its not like that, i am fond of going abroad but the situation of going or not going was killing me. Since the day, my husband told me that his company is sending him to Tokyo "with family"(i have mentioned in quotes because it would be the first time I will go with him, otherwise he travels alone till now). We were excited this time for the first family trip to foreign with our little princess. After few days, The excitement flew away when my husband told me that probably the trip can be cancelled as some system error (some technical issue at his work place) has occurred and it may take a while. We already have done Shopping for the trip. It would go waste because those winter clothes will not be useful in Mumbai. I was in midway of everything. We paid fee till january for my daughter's play school. The feburay has come. It was really awkward sending her now to the school. I prefer to talk with her principal regarding our situation. She is a very kind person. She understood us and allow my daughter to continue. The half of packing was done and half was left. I just zipped off the whole luggage and leave everything like this only. Finally after a week, the issue was resolved and on Friday came to know that coming Tuesday have to travel. By this time, the excitement went away. But my husband made me cheer that Be happy, we will have fun there. The day has come. The flight was at 4pm. So we have to leave at 1pm from home. But the flight has cancelled. No prior message from airlines. My husband came to know from the google when he was randomly checking. The calls and calls for an hour to check for other flight before 5pm because we had the connected flight to Tokyo. From Bombay to Delhi to Tokyo. At 9pm we had flight from Delhi. The flight booked at 5pm. We reached airport by 3.30pm. Again the hurdle came, as our boarding paas was not releasing due to some standby process of them. The hour from 3.30 to 4.30 we were standing on the same counter and the person who was at the computer there, was running from here and there to release the boarding passes from some other computer. It was already 4.35 and we did not get our boarding passes. Our luggage was not checked in. My husband came in to his veins. He was just about to say to cancel our booking the computer person handed us over the tickets and get the luggage for checkin. The problem is not solved yet. The ticket he has issued us was "I" marked. Means the immigration process has to done yet. My husband told me that last time when he went to Tokyo the same routes of flight he followed. That time immigration held in Delhi. This time all the problems came along. Only 20 minutes were left to flight and we did not even pass through security check. We ran like nothing. My husband with the two cabin bags and Me with My daughter in my arms. Legs started cramping. We were sweating like we have taken shower with the clothes. But thanks to the immigration staff. They helped us a lot. They informed on the boarding gate to wait for us. Only 5 minutes were left when we reached on the boarding gate. I had to change my daughter's diaper and get her something to eat. Nothing done. I had some grapes with me which she is very fond of. I requested to security to take that with me to feed her. He allows as he knew our situation. After get in the plane, we took a breath of relief. But what is this, why it is not taking off. We have next flight also. We are with very short time. At 6pm the flight took off. In total we are running 2 Hours late to our schedule. At 8pm the plain landed in Delhi. One good thing was that our luggage in mumbai was checked in directly for Tokyo. And immigration process is also done. We just have to take boarding paas and gone through security check. 20 minutes gone in this. I hurriedly run to mother care room to change my daughter's diaper. She ate banana and one little chocolate. She is done with her dinner with this. Next 20 minutes gone and 20 minutes left for boarding. We run again. Boarded the plane and inform our family. All were worried because we could not contact them after reaching mumbai airport and after landing too. It was actually a sigh of relief when we boarded the plane to Tokyo. My daughter fall asleep while taking off. She has not slept since we left from home. She slept the whole journey of 7 hours. A big big relief of her sleep as she is sick of travelling. Finally reached to Tokyo. Very Soon, I will share the experience of living in Tokyo. Thank you dear Reader for your valuable time. Your suggestions and comments are most welcome.
