His son, Zain, suffered an undetected in-utero asphyxiation which caused severe brain damage leading to cerebral palsy. He is confined to a wheelchair and is quadriplegic and blind.
This was when he learned empathy from his wife, Anupama, who never asked ""why"" but instead always focused on their son and how they could care best for him, he learned empathy from his son when he began to see life from his son’s eyes.
And this is what helped him when his youngest daughter was born with severe learning disabilities.
