The 'Weaning' Formula
Now Rebecca has been the best mom for weaning posts on the app. She isnmy go-to buddy for weaning gyan but I choose to make a weaning post today--not to compete but to share something vital.
A LOT of formula feeding moms on the app get in touch with me on a regular basis. From apit upa to poop, there are many tales they share and I try helping them wth some experience based advice. But then again, I have found that formula moms have a notion that formula babies need EARLY WEANING.
This is a myth and while it used to be usula two decades back, it aint the case now. The US sees moms weaning at 4 months but that is coz the foods and weather out there are way different. I have lived there so trust me.
Coming to our India, weaning is beat donw at 5.5months or pin pointedly at 6 months. The goal is to make kids have more filling stuff.. not to beef up the baby.
