The WHO organisation recommends exclusive breast feeding till about six months of age. Thereafter breast milk is still the primary source of Nutrition for the baby but some solids can be introduced. Do not start with rice or dal water as these are very low calorie and can compromise the over all growth and development of your baby. Good starter foods are fruits and vegetables.
