This news item got me thinking - we talk about post partum depression but do we recognise depression out of this circle? Do we know people who suffer from this disease which is like any other ailment, and do we send people to seek professional/medical help & therapy?
What shud we do to create more awareness abput depressiin and get rid of the stigma attached to it in india??
I would love to know ur thoughts...

Also...it can be a due to lack of vital vitamins in body like vit b12 , vit d etc...I remember; I use to get very low emotionally also..when I was detected with m extreme deficiency of b12 then...I came to know it's importance and started taking care of it...so yes our food lack of nutrients also triggers this

Its actually important to identify signs of depression In self and in any close person around you... Depression is treatable .. some therepaies work really well. Most important of all is take care of yourself and surroundings yourself with positive people avoid any kind of pressure from society which force u to be toxic people who.make you sad n harma your emotion. My self was victim of depression for long time ...buy by God Grace I am out of it...as i have got some blessed friends around me.
