These are my favourite basan nankhatai.. usually market brought nankhatai are full of oil sugar. I made this using very less brown sugar and deshi ghee.. though it was my first trial on nankhatai but came out very delicious.

Gram flour 1 cup<br> Refined flour 1/2 cup <br> Semolina 1/2 cup<br> Powdered sugar 1/3 cup ( I don't like too much sweet U can add 1 cup if u like it)<br> Baking powder 1 tsp<br> Cardamom 5-6<br> Deshi ghee 3/4 cup (butter or refined oil can also be used)<br> Mix all dry ingredient together nicely<br> In a large bowl mix sugar and ghee and cardamom powder. <br> Add dry items to sugar ghee mixture<br> Kneed it properly to make a fine dough (should be same consistency as we make for chapati) keep it for rest for 15 minutes.<br> After 15 minutes make small balls from dough and flatten slightly and keep them on <u>a</u> greased tray <br> Preheat given at 200 degree at convection mode.<br> After preheat set temp at 180 degree and put tray inside for 8-9 minutes. <br> After that take outside the tray and let it be cooled naturally and yay it's ready yummy delicious market style bakery biscuit.<br> P.S. I was giving a trial to it so I kept it plane, u can add dry fruits or choco chips or cocoa powder or coconut powder as per ur child's taste
