Things That You Should NEVER Ever Tell A New Mom!

Being a mom has never been easy! Especially in the new motherhood phase, often mothers face several mean comments. Comments that are absolutely not needed and are not welcome as well.

Check out some of the things that you should definitely refrain from saying if you are about to visit a new mom.

You Have Dark Circles

Women after becoming mothers are indeed conscious about their looks. Especially a new mom, who stays up at all odd hours and literally survives in spite of being completely exhausted. Commenting on her features especially those like dark circles can easily make her feel more depressed. So, just DON’T!

You Have Gained Weight

Of course, she has! And what do you even expect? No, she is not binge-eating. She is just staying super busy and super exhausted. She just delivered a baby and she hardly has time for herself. Don’t ever comment on her physical features.;

Your Baby Cries A Lot

Well, that’s the primary job of the babies you know. And trust me, crying is considered healthy for babies. The baby can be crying because of colic pain or because of hunger. It can be anything. Instead of commenting, just try to help the mom by holding the baby and helping it to calm down. Trust me, the mom will love you for doing that.

Breastfeed ONLY
Whether the baby needs to be formula-fed or breastfed, I don’t seriously think should be anyone’s concern except the mother’s. So don’t go on bragging about how you or anyone else raised up the baby only by breastfeeding. The mom knows the best!

Sleep When The Baby Sleeps

The mom wants that too! But with a newborn at home and with a thousand errands in the waiting list, it’s not always possible. Especially when the mom is all alone with no helping hand. However, if you would like to volunteer to do those tasks, please comment!;;;

Why Is Her/His Skin Dark When You’re Fair

Because that is a God’s gift and the complexion is the least of concern for any mother. As long as the baby is born healthy and perfect, you shouldn’t be worried about anything else.

Do You Always Use Diapers?

BREAKING NEWS

Did you know disposable diapers, when used properly and with utmost care is absolutely SAFE!

Yes, even if the mother uses it 24*7, it’s actually safe. The mom knows better than you probably about diaper rashes and also how to treat them. So, please don’t make her feel guilty as if she has just committed a crime.

When’s The Next One Coming?

Seriously?

How can you even think about that? Especially NOW?

That woman just gave birth to a baby. She’s literally getting her life sorted. At this point, if you comment on the next one, I’m sure she will be all ready to show you the door.

Did I miss out any? Let me know in the comments!
