One of the major eye openers for me this year has been how quickly things change in no time without us realising!
.
From needing her magic drink 😋 until I weaned earlier this year, to relying on the comfort of my shoulder and some lullabies to fall asleep, all she now needs is some story time! And once we are done, she just lies down and she is in her dreamland in no time! Could never imagine, putting her to sleep could get this easy!
.
If there was a very clingy and chipku phase when she wanted me to play with her and be around all the time - she now totally enjoys her ‘me time’ with her dolls and her gang! 😅 She can spend a lot of time all by herself! And watching her play is such a delight! 😊
.
All this and more has happened during this year! The gradual changes have only made me want to enjoy the current to the fullest and not sulk about the challenges that we encounter in our journey together!
.
Soon there would n’t be a need for me to drop and pick her from school, which we enjoy so much! She wouldn’t need me around while playing with her friends! I might not have the freedom to decide her clothes and more! For all this too shall pass!

And as much as I might miss these precious moments, the new changes and her growing independence are gonna make me happy too! That’s how life is! Is n’t it?

So all you mommies who are struggling and having a tough time currently - don’t worry! Just enjoy all the beautiful moments and grow together! And things definitely do get easier and better with time! 🤗
