Normally when I am sad or worried about something, what I do is, I look for three 'Yes' and one 'No'. This is not a part of any book, thesis or strategy, my own self developed way of staying happy.
Do I have food to eat on time? YES.
Do I have clothing to wear? YES.
Do I have a house to stay? YES. Importantly do I have any deadly diseases like Cancer or tumour? NO.
These are the three 'YES' and one 'NO' that keeps me happy. Now when I face a problem I ask myself, which of this would I trade my current problem with? As in, am I ready to give away my luxury of food, or clothing or shelter or for that matter ready to accept diseases so as to solve this particular issue at hand? If the answer is NO, the issue is not big enough. At least for me it is not.
I agree, the whole "three Yes and one No” test of mine is hypothetical. Anybody who reads and analyze it can understand that there is no logic in it. It is purely based on imagination but so what, if being a little illogical can make you happy, let logic go and fly a kite.
It is all about being happy, without affecting the freedom of others.
Happiness comes from within you.. just have to look for it, feel it, imagine it, and soon it will be your reality.
So simply imagine, dream and importantly believe that you are meant to be happy every single second of your life, and no one or no problem can deprive you, of your that right.
As they say, "it is your eyes, your perception, and it is your decision, to look at the Sand or the Sky…" 😊
