Today our very little Batul Baby's Aqeeqa, Join me in wishing Nilofer and her entire family for the occasion.
Aqīqah, aqeeqa, or aqeeqah is the Islamic tradition of the sacrifice of an animal on the occasion of a child's birth. It is widely performed by Muslims and it is considered sunnah to slaughter a sheep for the baby and distribute the meat to the people.
After Nilofer invited me, I bugged my other Muslim friend and learnt what Aqeeqa is.. I love to learn other religion's culture and traditions. Everything is so meaningful and at the end every religion teaches us love, unity and sharing.. Isn't?

How come i missed this post. Thanks so much yaa for the love and the gifts and especially for blessing batul with your presence. Truely happy to have you. Batul is tking her new blanket to her first long trip this weekend.
