today we are going for NT scan... I am more worried than my wife.. can someone suggest what details we should ask doctor.. I am sure doctor anyways will explain everything but still want to understand this before going for scan.. also is there some blood test done along with NT scan as my friend was telling me but my doc hasn't asked for it yet.
Don't worry like all moms have suggested! It is a routine scan that is done

They will measure the fluid behind the baby's neck it will rule out complications like down syndrome , heart ailments or any other complications. It's a normal regular scan, She will also have double marker test for down syndrome . The scan report and the test results will be calculated. Aam baat these days so don't worry , all of us has gone through these. All the best.
