Topsy Turvy Tales - Motherhood On A Complete Flip!
When I became a mommy a month and lil longer ago, I was enthusiatic to recover, get back on feet and made awesome plans to mommy around my Sid. With my posts, feeds and advice that I shared on app, I was one of those mammas who believed in exclusively breastfeeding the baby. I did so. Exactly for a month. And then things started taking another route!
Cluster feeds, comfort feeds, discovering the right latch. These made way into my mother wala dictionary. From numerous questions on this app to chatting with my babychakra buddies, I was pretty confident that I was on the best track.
But then came my chowka rasam, precisely on day 30 from Sid's birth date. And amid all the Punjabi fun, came in strings of comments, on how Siddy has turned darker and weaker than what he was a month back.
I was hurt. Demotivated. Dejected. While I did not believe all that they said, back of my mind I had these thoughts myself. I had been feeding a loooot and yet I saw Sid crying and smacking without satisfaction!!
Perhaps for the first time, these people noted right. Perhaps I had to do something.
My mom-- who had exclusively formula fed me ages back-- suggested Nan Pro. And reluctantly, I agreed. Some research and then chatting with my darling Nancy, made me decide to combo feed my Sid. I am a week into combo feeds, and I am more at peace and so is my baby. I am facing newer challenges though. The ups and downs, I will rant seperately soon but for now I feel I have done a sane thing. No right or wrong here. I need to hear from you #babychakramoms on this!! What's your take!? #formulababies #babychakra #kolkatamoms #baby #motherhood

Satty, Make peace with motherhood! You are doing great as a mother, just hang in there! This phase too shall pass and like all the ladies have suggested,it's okay to give formula a few times if the baby is accepting well! Meanwhile just stay relaxed and once the baby turns around 2.5 months when they usually start noticing the outside world, you would know much better the reasons behind dissatisfied baby post a feed. You can always resort back to ebf if you wish to! Happy feeding !!

Replace every three months. You get sizes too that need change.
