Considering our very active, enthusiastic and curious three year old, listed below are a few things we try & do for a smooth travel. We do #zeroscreentime , so look for other ways to keep her engaged and happily occupied.

❤️ FAVORITE SNACKS ON THE GO!
Crunching her favourite snacks keeps her busy and happy for a decent time. We don’t let her indulge in them often, so there is also an element of excitement. She makes the most of it.

❤️ ACTIVITIES SHE ENJOYS!
We carry some colours, notepad, Water Wow by @melissaanddougtoys and couple of activities she likes from her @flintobox which are easy to pack in the hand bag without taking much space and keeps her occupied. We also carry flashcards and play dough which are convenient and lot of fun to play with.

❤️ MORNING FLIGHT!
She is normally a little slow and not fully charged during mornings. So whenever possible, we opt for a morning flight that ensures lesser running around and managing her becomes easier.

❤️ PLANNING AHEAD!
We reach the airport a little earlier, so that there is no last moment rush & stress!
With adequate time on hand, we also use the loo before we board the flight. We explore the airport and she enjoys running around freely. Once on the flight, we read or do some of the activities. And she normally does n’t mind the quiet time.

❤️ LIGHT HAND BAGGAGE & BEING HANDS-FREE!
I carry a back pack with only the things I will need and the bare essentials in my cabin baggage. Being handsfree, helps in managing my toddler. For the brief period we have the checked in baggage, I get her involved in helping me push the trolley or make her sit on it. 🙂
