Trip to Disneyland Recently I was on vacation to US and we went to Disneyland, Los Angeles, California. This was mine second but my kiddos first trip to Disney. He is 4.5 yrs old and have never been any amusement or such park before. He is not too much interested in cartoons but he likes to watch Mickey Mouse sometimes. So I started talking to him about Disneyland and rides and what all we will do there. We started our day early keeping in mind the traffic, weather and also that we should cover as much as we can and we reached there by 9.15 am. But my little one left his backpack in the shuttle and we wasted like 45-50 min for the shuttle to complete it's trip and come back. Nevertheless still we could enter by 10am which is decent to start a day 😋😋. Here are my pointers on how to plan : 1. Look for offers while booking tickets - we took a day max pass which included normal day pass plus photo pass so we can get clicked by professional photographers in Disneyland and also you get fast pass access short cut to long queue rides. This saves time and you can cover more. 2. Los Angeles have good connection to Disneyland by metro trains if you are staying far.. if you are around Disneyland then you can look for shuttles roaming for pickup. 3. Download Disneyland app on your phone and believe me it's more useful than anything else and it's like your companion for that day. Easy way to locate food points, washrooms, events for the day and many more. All you can get to know just a click away. 4. You can hire a stroller for your kids just at the entry point. Even if your child is not used to stroller it will come very handy at here as they save energy sitting in stroller and get less cranky and enjoy more. 5. My son was not at all interested in getting clicked with any of the characters like Winnie The Pooh, Mickey, Minnie or any other so I rather saved that time and took him to all the rides. 6. Rides criteria - most rides have the height limit of 40" and they should be accompanied by the adults so below that height very few rides are left for younger kids. 7. Take the Disneyland map at the entrance and plan which part you want to cover first and also what kind of rides you and your child prefer. This help in prioritizing where you should move and helps in saving time. 8. If you have time don't miss the last fire cracker show. It's worth a whole day wait. Amazing way to tell story through crackers. Wow moment. Disneyland is place which is more of an experience than anything else for all age groups. Adults become kids there and I guess we all should let the child inside is come out once in a while to keep spark in life. So overall we all had fun and amazing time and came back with memories for lifetime.
