Urgent help needed for a friend.. Her query - I am thalassemia positive.. have thyroid (under 25mcg)medications. It's been week I feel breathless..it started at night so I thought it's due to HhOmega medicine which is supplemente for iron as I Cnt take iron pills coz of rich iron level in blood.. but now this heavy breathing has become regular at day time too.

Nowadays m having cold n mild cough so is this breathless feeling is due to any of above reasons or is it normal.. I have got my rft1/tsh test done all fine. Shared with gyen so she has advised for blood transfusion due to 9.5cbc... n low cbc can be reason for this condition..

She also said if this continues after transfusion Too thn I need to get some ctscan to see if lungs are performing well..thr is no blood blockages which I can happen in thalassemia condition..

I feel more fatigue and tired.. seems no energy left.. n this feeling of short of air around me makes me feel more uncomfortable... bp too is keeping low (Generally too bo remains low..never gone high) @asha chaudhry plz tag some doctors
