Finely chop some onion, tomato, bottle guard, spinach, and any other vegetables which you prefer. You can also add green peas and carrots. Mix some rice and dal together(ratio1:2), wash it and keep it aside. Put a pressure cooker on a medium flame. Add some ghee when it is hot. Add cumin seeds. When the cumin begins to crackle, add onion and fry them till it attains a golden colour. Now add all the vegetables and mix them. Add the rice and daal mixture to this now. Add appropriate amount of water so that the final product is a soft mixture. Add a little turmeric and salt. Close the lid and cook till 4-5 whistles. Wait till the steam dissipates. Serve hot.
