Vegetable Oats coriander Chilla (Pancake) Recipe : 1. Soak 1 cup oats (no need to grind), ½ cup rava (semolina), ¼ cup thick curd and 1 cup water for 30 mins .. 2. Now add ½ - 1 tsp a small piece ginger and 2 - 3 green chillies paste, 2 tbsp grated carrot, 1 tsp finely chopped capsicum, 1 tsp finely chopped tomato, 1 tsp finely chopped onion, 3 tsp finely chopped coriander leaves and salt and mix well ..
3. add any veggies of your choice and any quantity you like - any leafy vegetables, cabbage, boiled potatoes etc ..
4. Now add few spoons of water if needed to make the batter of medium pouring consistency (not too thick nor too thin) ..
5. Heat a griddle or dosa tava on a high to medium flame and rub oil lightly with a onion slice all over the tava - this is to prevent chilla from sticking to the tava ..
6. Now pour in a spoonful of batter to the centre of the tava and spread it evenly and thinly with the laddle all over the tava ..
7. Drizzle few drops of oil along the sides of the chilla and few drops over it ..
8. Cover with a lid and cook 2 - 3 mins on medium flame or till the bottomside turn golden brown ..
9. Flip and drizzle oil if needed and fry till other side turn golden brown ..
10. Cook the chilla till both sides are well cooked ..
