So now for a week my daughter has been suffering from viral rash. Its terrifying for a parent to see their kids in pain. My little ones whole face and body was filled with rashes.
I spoke to a few doctors about it and wanted you all to be informed so if anyone faces anything like that they know what to do about it.
What this rash looks like: **This rashes are like red bumps, they start with chest and back and gradually on limbs and face and ears. **This rash do not cause any itching or pain. **They are accompanied with fever, dizziness and loss of appetite. **They may last for a few days or few weeks.
What care you can take:- **Include plenty of fluids like water, juice, lemonade etc **Do not force them to eat if they don’t want to.you can try giving soups instead. **Encourage frequent naps and let them rest as much as possible. **Speak to your doctor for fever medication. **Keep monitoring their fever and if it rises above 102 and not going down talk to their doctor. **If the rash spreads on their eyes, mouth or genitals, seek medical advice immediately as it may cause trouble breathing. **If your baby is not taking enough fluids and not eating properly, pee count has dropped and shows signs of dehydration and dizziness take them to the doctor immediately.
Care for rash:- **Wash the body with warm water 2 times a day. **Cut their nails to avoid any scratching. **You can apply calamine lotion on the rash to avoid any discomfort to your baby. Put it on cotton ball and dab it on the rash **Your doctor will prescribe some anti allergic medication to stop the rash from spreading further.
Great you shared this....yes Aarav suffered this and luckily it stayed exactly for three days and then he was better but the fever lingered around for 5 days... Good info dear 👍👍
