Vit D is so important for you in pregnancy. Your body can absorb Calcium only if Vit D is available. A balance in these micronutrients not only helps build strong bones for baby and mom it helps avoid bone and joint related aches and pains in pregnancy, improves immunity and prevents pre-eclampsia or pregnancy induced hypertension.
