Wanted to ask some pedeatrician on this app, mothers who do not lactate at all and have to formula feed the baby but cannot afford a carton of formula every week which is almost 525 rs per carton, can they feed cow milk. I know someone who is this situation and cannot starve the baby.

@ Anonymous - yes, diluted with water. If it's not diluted, then it can affect childs kidney & gastro intestinal tract causing loose motions or constipation

@ Anonymous - i wouldn't recommend cow/ Buffalo milk before 1 year of age.... <br> If at all cows milk is to be given, then it needs to be diluted properly, but there is always a risk
