water intake after delivery. My in laws says 1 ltr water Intake is sufficient.. Please answer.

Hi Sonal, It's a myth that you should not drink water.<br> Water intake actually increase your milk, you should drink one glass of water before every feed to your baby.<br> First it helps to low down your body temperature and keep up cool.<br> Second it help in increasing milk. But for at least one month it is advisable to drink warm water sip by sip, not in one go because if you drink whole in one go it will put pressure on your bladder, which is in a recovery phase..

drink lots of water nd other fluids as much as possible, it will helps u for increasing breastmilk too..&amp; clean your inside dirts too..1 liter is; not enough dear..

You can easily have 1 to 2 litres of water.Warm water will help flush out the build up inside <u>fast</u>
