I went to the hospital after 3 to 4 hours of mild labour pain that started early morning. I delivered my baby same day at 8.30 pm the hospital...Labour pain typically starts like a back pain and you will start to feel abdominal cramps that come n go at regular intervals. My doc advised me to leave for hospital when the contractions are at 10 minute intervals..

I opted for Epidural during my delivery....it doesn't reduce the pain 100 percent but can reduce upto 40 to 50 percent. Specially reduces pain caused when the baby comes out and when the perineal stitches are done. My Gynaec told me that it doesn't have any major side effects...I dont have any so far and heard the same from friends. you can go 4 it.
