Bread chilly/ dry bread Manchurian
If you have leftover pieces of bread and wanna try something different and tangy this is the recipe!!..it makes 10-15 balls!!
Ingredients (for bread balls)
1. 4-5 pieces of without corner bread soaked in water and crumbled in a bowl
2. 1 bowl Finely chopped veggies (onion, garlic, ginger, carrots, capsicum, beans, cabbage)
3. 1 tsp each of soya sauce, red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce
4. 2 tbsp tomato sauce
5. Salt and pepper to taste
6. 1 tbsp cornflour (optional)
7. Oil for frying
To the bowl with crumbled bread, add all veggies and all ingredients except oil and mix well. If mix is too sticky, the add little oil and cornflour and mix else cornflour can be avoided. Fry small balls from this mix on medium flame. Oil should not be too hot.



Ingredients (Manchurian Sauce)
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 medium onion chopped
2 spring onions chopped (keep greens for later use)
Long strips of capsicum, carrots
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp each of soya sauce, green and red chilli sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Water
In a pan, heat oil. Then add garlic and saute till it changes color. Add onions, spring onions, capsicum, carrots and saute well. Add salt and pepper and all sauces and mix well on high flame. Add the Manchurian balls and about 1/2 cup water and stir well.
Serve this dry and hot with garlic bread or rice!!.. decorate with spring onion greens.
