Shetty it depends on doctors, I would not lie the information you got is totally false, yes it does happen in india as we don't have strict rules and regulations while deciding csection unlike abroad. So you got to do lot of homework, rather than choosing good hospital choose a good doctor. Being said this, there are also few things where csection can't be avoided, like if the baby is in breech position, if baby's head is not getting fixed, no labour pain though its induced, baby passing meconium (stool) inside (it's very dangerous for the baby), baby's weight and mother's health etc. It is also true few ladies are not ready to go through pain and ask for csection. Hope this makes sense.

Shetty,<br> We need to trust doctors. Doctors don't suggest to go under knife without a reason. If there are no complications in your pregnancy i don't think any doctor will suggest a c section. 99% figure is really an unacceptable one, But it's up to you to decide your delivery place.
