Has your radiologist mentioned amniotic band in your report ? in early pregnancy your amniotic sac has two layers which fuse together by about week 16. sometimes if there is a year before the fusion it can form strands which can wrap around the baby and cause some serious concerns. This is a very rare condition. At times it is also misdiagnosed and in most situations it is actually a sheet and this does not affect the baby's development.
