You can use anytime you wish. Just keep in mind to change the diaper every 4 to 5 hours and immediately after the baby poops. Also make sure the area is dry while you put on the diaper. You can apply coconut oil sometimes to prevent rashes.

Yes night time is better but keep checking...

If you are ok to wake up, then avoid, as it is winter season baby Also pee lot, you can use diaper at night.. if baby poops then change it..
